Last November, Davis stood in court and faced a bunch of crimes, including health care fraud, wire fraud, and more. was supposed to be in prison for 20 years, but in the end, the judge "showed mercy" and gave him a relatively "easy" sentence. The mastermind of the case, former New Jersey Nets player Terrence Williams, was already sentenced to 10 years in prison last August. A player who was drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft has now become the mastermind of the fraud, which is more bloody than a TV series.
Davis and several others have been swindling more than $5 million in insurance money in the scam, which has lasted at least four years.
