On May 9, the Jiulongpo District Public Security Bureau announced that in order to effectively alleviate the traffic congestion of Shixin Road, Chaoyang Road and Liubeiqiao Road, and create conditions for the smooth progress of the reconstruction and expansion project of Liubeiqiao Road, it is planned to implement traffic organization adjustments at the Liubeiqiao intersection of Shixin Road and Liubeiqiao Road (Shixin Road to Chaoyang Road) from 10 o'clock on May 12, 2024, and at the same time open the northern section of Liubeiqiao Road (Bashan Road to Shixin Road). Optimize the structure of the regional road network, improve the efficiency of road traffic, and ensure the safety and convenience of surrounding residents and passing vehicles.
Adjustment measures:
Liubeiqiao Road (Shixin Road to Chaoyang Road section) implements one-way traffic: one-way traffic from Shixin Road to Chaoyang Road (north to south).
Change of driving route from Chaoyang Road to Shixin Road: The original route is adjusted to Chaoyang Road - Gaomiao Road - Shixin Road.
Opening of the new section of the northern section of Liubei Bridge: The newly opened northern section of Liubei Bridge (Bashan Road to Shixin Road) will also adopt one-way traffic measures, and vehicles can drive from Bashan Road to Shixin Road to further disperse the pressure of traffic flow.
Restrictions and adjustments on U-turns at key intersections: U-turns are prohibited in the direction of Shiqiaopu interchange (northeast side) and Bashan Road (northwest side) at the Liubeiqiao intersection of Shixin Road, and tandem U-turns are allowed in the direction of Shixin Road interchange.
Bus route adjustment: Bus Line 364 (Chuangye Avenue - Nanping direction) will no longer run on Liubeiqiao Road, but will travel from Chaoyang Road - Gaomiao Road - Shixin Road, and the stops along the way will remain the same.

The Qianjiang section of the Chongqian Railway is 25.56 kilometers long, and 181 simply supported box girders with a span of 32 meters need to be erected, and each beam weighs 505 tons per single line girder. Among them, 6 bridges involve the construction of adjacent business lines, and the right line bridge of Grape Ditch is the construction of the upper span business line, and the line needs to be blocked, which has difficulties such as difficult construction, tight time, and high safety risks.
According to Chongqing-Guizhou Railway Co., Ltd., the Chongqian Railway is an important part of the Xiamen-Chongqing corridor of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network in the mainland's "Medium and Long-term Railway Network Planning". After the completion of the project, the travel time from the Qianjiang River in Chongqing to the central city will be shortened from the current 4 hours to less than 1 hour, which will greatly improve the travel conditions of residents along the route.
