This morning, MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference 2024 was held as scheduled under the theme of "AI for Everything". At this conference, MediaTek launched the "Dimensity AI Pioneer Program"; Jointly released the "Generative AI Mobile Phone Industry White Paper" with industry ecosystem partners, jointly defined generative AI mobile phones, looked forward to the development prospects of AI in the future, and released the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ flagship processor at the same time.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ is still built on TSMC's 4nm process and adopts an all-large-core CPU architecture, with an octa-core CPU containing 4 Cortex-X4 ultra-large cores with a maximum frequency of 3.4 GHz, and the remaining 3 large cores clocked at 2.85GHz, as well as 4 Cortex-A720 large cores clocked at 2.0GHz, and a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU. For comparison, the Dimensity 9300+ boosts the top frequency by 0.15GHz, and the rest of the base specs remain the same as the Dimensity 9300. In terms of AI, the Dimensity 9300+ supports Dimensity AI LoRA Fusion 2.0 technology, the AI framework ExecuTorch, the adaptive technology characteristics of the Star Speed Engine, and a variety of large AI models.
In terms of the first product, MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ has once again cooperated with vivo, and the high-performance flagship vivo X100S/iQOO Neo9S Pro and iQOO Pad2 Pro tablets have officially announced that they will be the first to be equipped with this processor. According to the current release progress, the vivo X100S will make its global debut on May 13. According to the currently known leaks, vivo X100S will also be equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO OLED cut-out straight screen, rear triple camera scheme, Zeiss certification blessing, it is expected to be equipped with a large-capacity blue ocean battery of more than 5000mAh, support 120W wired charging function and other configurations.
More details of the vivo X100S/iQOO Neo9S Pro and iQOO Pad2 Pro tablets will be announced in the official warm-up process.
