At the conference, 28 projects were signed, including "one excellent and three reduction" of Huating Coal Company, compressed air energy storage in Huating City, and 2 million tons of coal gangue separation and modification and comprehensive utilization of composite resources in Huating City, with a signed capital of 16.18 billion yuan, including 17 contract projects with a total investment of 7.518 billion yuan, and 11 framework agreement projects with a total investment of 8.662 billion yuan, covering coal chemical industry, agriculture, traditional Chinese medicine, new energy and other fields.
Huating City is one of the key counties (cities) of the 14 major coal-producing bases in the country, the core area of Longdong comprehensive energy and chemical base and the main battlefield of clean and efficient utilization of coal in Pingliang City, and is also an important energy supply and freight distribution base and a production base of high-quality beef cattle, walnuts and Chinese medicinal materials in Longdong. In recent years, Huating City has unswervingly grasped the investment and projects, cultivated leaders, gathered groups, built a platform and optimized the environment, and walked out of a "industry-led" and "urban service-oriented" county development road with Huating characteristics, and won the "Top 100 Counties and Cities in the National New Urbanization Quality" for two consecutive years.
