Special Police Detachment of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau High-tech Industrial Development Zone Bureau
The special police detachment of the High-tech Industrial Development Zone Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau was established in 2020 and currently has 17 police officers, 1 auxiliary police officer, and 130 stability maintenance team members. It is responsible for handling various special dangerous tasks such as counter-terrorism, anti-violence, anti-extremism, and mass incidents, and its main functions include participating in the handling of violent terrorist crimes, serious violent crimes, security tasks for major events, specific patrol duty tasks, handling highly confrontational mass incidents, and other tasks that should be undertaken by the public security special police team.

The special police detachment undertakes two special tasks on a daily basis: First, it is to carry out armed patrols that combine foot patrols and vehicle patrols on a regular basis. The formation of the "Xijie Quick Response Trio", following the principles of rapid response, legality and justice, civility and order, safety and efficiency, in the Xijie business district of Chongqing High-tech Zone, the implementation of "police on the street, on duty in motion, armed response", in strict accordance with the "1" minute and "early, small, fast" response mechanism, according to the instructions of the intelligence center to carry weapons and equipment to the mission area and the surrounding areas of sudden terrorism and violence (incidents) to quickly deal with, to minimize casualties, property losses and social impact.
