Text/Drunken Snow
Recently, due to the intervention and instigation of foreign countries, the already calm waters of the South China Sea have once again become turbulent. Recently, the United States and the Philippines have made frequent moves in the South China Sea, and joint military exercises are being carried out, and the waters of Scarborough Shoal and Ren'ai Jiao are also indispensable for Philippine ships of all stripes. In the face of increasingly rampant external provocations against the mainland's sovereignty and inherent territory, the People's Army also quickly responded by resolutely fighting back in the South China Sea.

According to the situation map of the South China Sea during the "Shoulder to Shoulder 2024" military exercise between the United States and the Philippines released by foreign military media, the naval and air forces of our military in the South China Sea have been monitoring and alerting the movements of the US military and the exercise process for a long time. It has been learned that after two US B-52H bombers entered the South China Sea from the direction of the Sulu Sea, two J-11 fighters that took off from Xisha approached at high speed and accompanied the US bombers to monitor and intercept them.

China's two Wuzhen-7 sorties went to the skies over western Luzon Island and the Nansha Islands, that is, the predetermined location of the US-Philippine military exercise, to conduct aerial reconnaissance activities, while one Y-8EW also conducted electronic reconnaissance activities over the Xisha Islands and Zhongsha Islands; one Chinese Navy's electronic reconnaissance ship tracked and monitored the US-French-Philippine maritime military exercise, that is, the Navy's "Uranus" ship approached the US-Philippine warship for more than eight hours after it was reported a few days ago.

In fact, these activities have long become part of our normalized military operations in the South China Sea, and it is impossible to talk about "flexing muscles", after all, the J-11, Y-8 electronic warfare aircraft, and 815A are all "veterans" in dealing with foreign powers, and the confrontation with mature technology and equipment is already known. What is more noteworthy is the appearance of the Wuzhen-7 in the South China Sea; the Wuzhen-7 is an advanced high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft developed by the mainland itself, equipped with advanced synthetic aperture radar and optical reconnaissance instruments, and has the ability to carry out high-subsonic cruise operations at an altitude of 20,000 meters.
In addition to the high-altitude reconnaissance at a predetermined location during the military exercise shown above, on April 18, just before the US-Philippine military exercise, a Filipino reporter took a photo of the Wuzhan-7 flying over the Philippine waters in the South China Sea. Therefore, this appearance can be regarded as a public warning from our military to the Philippine military through the mouth of the Philippine media: All your actions are under surveillance and control, and do not use some small tricks of "deducing aircraft carrier models" to deceive yourself.

Of course, the US and Filipino media have also hyped up our "military coercion" in the South China Sea, and the Philippine government did not hesitate to end up in person, and Marcos himself even compared the current situation in the South China Sea with Japan's expansion of the Pacific War in 1942, and said that the dispute between China and the Philippines in the South China Sea is like the defeat of the giant Goliath by the young David in the Bible, and the "sadness card" is full. However, at a time when we did not have sufficient military strength, US warships and planes patrolled the South China Sea all day long, and the rights and interests of mainland civilian boats and fishermen in normal navigation and fishing were violated in various ways.

In fact, according to the statistics of public ADS signals, in April, the US military dispatched a total of 57 large reconnaissance planes to the South China Sea to conduct reconnaissance in close proximity, a significant decrease from the 87 reconnaissance planes in March. We still have a long way to go in our mission of safeguarding world peace.
