Since the issuance of the notice, the Jinan Municipal Public Security Bureau has clarified the names of 51 police officers who were falsely reported.
Recently, some people reported that the police of the Jinan Municipal Public Security Bureau did not enforce the law in a standardized manner. In this regard, the Discipline Inspection Commission of the sub-bureau quickly set up a verification team to thoroughly and meticulously verify the problems reflected in the report through interviews and relevant materials. After verification, the content of the report was not true.
The Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Economic South Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision in the Municipal Public Security Bureau studied and agreed, and the Discipline Inspection Commission of the sub-bureau immediately started the work procedures for clarifying and correcting names, and issued a written "Notice of Clarification and Correction of Names" to the police who were falsely reported. It is understood that since 2023, the successive sub-bureaus have tolerated and corrected errors for 2 police officers, and investigated and dealt with 2 cases of false accusations and framing of police officers.
Under the guidance and promotion of the discipline inspection and supervision group of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, clarifying and correcting the names of police officers who have received false reports has become a normalized work carried out by discipline inspection organizations at all levels of the Jinan Municipal Public Security Bureau. If some people are dissatisfied with the results of the case handling and make false reports, if they are not dealt with in a timely manner, it will seriously dampen the enthusiasm of the people's police and auxiliary police, and form a state of passive inaction to avoid responsibility.
In this regard, in the work, the discipline inspection and supervision group of the Municipal Public Security Bureau in the city has explored the establishment of a full-chain working mechanism for clarifying and correcting names, insisting on taking procedural norms as the lifeline for carrying out clarification and correcting names, and based on the actual conditions of public security work, clarifying the responsible subjects, applicable circumstances, basic principles, main methods, and organization and implementation of the clarification work, so as to ensure that the rights and responsibilities of the clarification and correction work are clear, the procedures are complete, and the procedures are accurate and efficient.
In order to effectively link the incentive and protection mechanism with the pattern of public security supervision, the discipline inspection and supervision team of the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the relevant departments of the Municipal Public Security Bureau such as inspectors, letters and visits, organizations, and personnel have established mechanisms for cadre supervision and management information exchange, work coordination and linkage, and sharing of application results, and jointly carry out the work of letter and visit acceptance, analysis and judgment, clue handling, and case investigation and handling.
