In the first quarter of 2024, the software and information technology service industry will operate well, with double-digit growth in business income, a slight increase in the growth rate of total profits, and good revenue growth in information technology services and other fields.
Software revenue grew by double digits
In the first quarter, the software business revenue was 2,802 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%, and the growth rate was the same as that from January to February.

Software product revenues grew steadily. In the first quarter, the revenue of software products was 683.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%, accounting for 24.4% of the industry's revenue. Among them, the revenue of industrial software products was 61.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%.
Information technology service revenue maintained rapid growth. In the first quarter, the revenue of information technology services was 1,841.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, accounting for 65.7% of the industry's revenue. Among them, the revenue of cloud computing and big data services was 304.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.9 percent, accounting for 16.5 percent of the information technology service revenue, the integrated circuit design revenue was 73.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.3 percent, and the e-commerce platform technology service revenue was 218.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7 percent.
Information security revenue grew steadily. In the first quarter, the revenue of information security products and services was 41.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%.
Embedded system software revenue growth accelerated. In the first quarter, the revenue of embedded system software was 235.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%, and the growth rate was 2.3 percentage points higher than that from January to February.
