After graduation, Li Xiuping went to his hometown to work at Gansu TV Station. With her solid broadcasting skills and slim temperament, she soon became famous in the station. At first, Gansu TV resisted. But CCTV people are too convincing after all, and Li Xiuping also showed a strong desire to go to CCTV at that time. After more than two months of tug-of-war, Gansu TV finally agreed to Li Xiuping's request to go to Beijing.
In this way, a small secondment turned out to be a big turning point in Li Xiuping's life. In 1989, at the age of 31, she officially entered CCTV and started a new hosting career.
CCTV's road is rugged, and both marriages have failed
Compared with the atmosphere of hometown TV, CCTV's environment is undoubtedly more harsh and high-pressure. At that time, Li Xiuping felt unprecedented pressure and challenges during his training. Fortunately, Li Xiuping's image and literacy are very appreciated by CCTV's mentors.
