During the May Day holiday
The Bund, Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street and other major business districts and scenic spots
Continue to usher in a large number of passengers
And due to the crowding
It also happens that children go missing from time to time
At 8 p.m. on May 2, a two-year-old boy accidentally got lost with his parents on the Bund water platform. The patrolling police immediately found the little boy nearby and stepped forward to question.
But because the boy was so young, there was no way to communicate at all, just kept crying. In desperation, the police could only take him to the police station.
After coming to the police station and seeing so many strangers, the little boy, who was already very nervous, began to cry again. The uncles and aunts of the police officers who were present took turns to comfort him, some brought iPads, some brought drinks, but they were useless. It wasn't until the police finally stuffed a lollipop into the little boy's mouth that he stopped crying.
The parents who found that the child was missing also called the police for help as soon as possible, and accompanied by the police, they went to the police station, and the father and son were finally reunited. The child's father thanked the police again and again.
Coincidentally, on the afternoon of May 2, Li Jialiang, a police officer from the traffic police detachment of the Huangpu Public Security Bureau, who was on duty on the Bund, encountered an enthusiastic citizen pulling a crying little girl to ask for help.
The little girl's face was full of horror and helplessness, and the police immediately squatted down and asked the little girl about the situation.
"I went up to the little girl and asked if she remembered the phone number of her family, and the little girl was very smart and brave, and she said that she remembered her mother's phone number. I got in touch with her mother by phone. Li Jialiang said.
It turned out that the little girl had come to Shanghai with her aunt for a tour, but due to the crowded flow of people on the Bund, she accidentally got separated from her aunt.
On the other end of the phone, the little girl's mother was very anxious, and after learning the news of her daughter's loss, she immediately contacted the girl's aunt and informed the police. After learning of her daughter's whereabouts, her hanging heart finally relaxed, and asked the police to take good care of her daughters and wait for their arrival.
Li Jialiang comforted the little girl while taking her to the mouth of the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel to wait. Ten minutes later, the little girl's aunt hurried to the scene. As soon as she saw the little girl, she immediately ran over excitedly and hugged the little girl tightly in her arms. The two hugged each other and cried.
The police reminded tourists that they must take good care of their children in crowded public places to avoid getting lost. At the same time, children can remember the contact information of their family members, and if they encounter difficulties, they can seek help from the police as soon as possible.
