On May 4, four people came to the Gulbagh Police Station of the Yuli County Public Security Bureau to ask for help, and among them, 85-year-old Mr. Yu Eryun told the police station director Qian Huachao about the process of being helped in Hadadun Village, Gulbagh Township, more than 50 years ago, and explained his long-cherished wish to find his benefactor.

Back in 1970, Mr. Yu Eryun and his wife and children left their hometown to work in Gulbagh Township, Yuli County. When life was hopeless, Comrades Abdureheman Kerem and Ibrayin Tohuti, former village cadres of Hadadun Village, learned about their difficulties and provided them with free accommodation and food to help them tide over their difficulties. Later, the family moved to Urumqi for development, but because there was no means of communication at that time, they lost contact after leaving.

Time flies, 54 years have passed in an instant, and what has passed is time, but what is left is a strong sense of gratitude. Later, after they settled down in Urumqi, they rushed to work every day, and for many years, the grace of saving lives has always been in the hearts of Grandpa Yu Eryun and Grandma Xiao Xiuying, and because of trivial matters and unfamiliar distances of more than 200 kilometers, there is no free time to find a benefactor. Mr. Yu Eryun's son said" Father often looked at the map hanging on the wall in a daze, but also often told us the story of life in Yuli County in 1970, many times wanted to go to Yuli County alone to look for were stopped by us, because the distance is afraid that the old man is not safe to go out, this time taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I drove to open the navigation, with my father's memory of the years, all the way to find here, but 54 years, the village has changed a lot, it is really impossible to find the place of residence and the people who have been missing for many years, so please comrade police, you must help us find it, and fulfill our family's long-cherished wish。 ”

After learning about the situation, Director Qian Huachao was moved by this heartwarming story that spanned more than 50 years, and said that he would do his best to help him find Abdureheman Kerem and Ibrayin Tohuti. Due to the long period of time, there are many people with the same name, and it is difficult to find it, but the police of the police station did not give up, and through continuous visits, investigations, and inquiries, they jointly checked the archives of Hadadun Village in the 60s, the cadre roster, and also sent police forces to inquire about the former village cadres of Hadadun Village in 1970, Abdul Rahman Kerem and Yibrayin Tohuti, from the elderly people in the village. After a lot of twists and turns, I finally found the family of Ibrayin Tohuti.

After 54 years of not seeing each other, Mr. Yu Eryun's family and the family of Ibrayin Tohuti sat together, reminiscing about the past, chatting very enthusiastically and reminiscing about the past. Grandpa Yu Eryun grabbed Yibrayin Tohuti's hand and thanked him for his help in surviving the family 54 years ago.
