Furong Street "Door God" Lao Sun's "May Day"

author:Qilu one point

Put on your uniform and bring your gear...... On May 3, the third day of the May Day holiday, Sun Hualei was on duty on the street as usual.

After 35 years as a police officer, "sticking to it" is his norm. An authentic Jinan dialect is his "standard". A warm-hearted heart, making him a "caring person" for citizens and tourists.

The most heard is "thank you"

On May 3, approaching the "evening rush hour" on Furong Street, the lively atmosphere rose even more. In the bustling crowd, the red and blue police lights on the side of the street flashed, and at the south exit of Furong Street, a group of people in blue uniforms became a different landscape.

"There are 12 guys in total, and everyone takes turns on duty, and they rotate every half an hour. "At 16 o'clock on May 3, Sun Hualei took up his post. Although he is only standing on duty, he can be said to be "listening to all directions", and can always receive the help signal of tourists at the first time - "Please ask, how to get to Quancheng Square", "How many buses to take to the train station", "What should I do if I can't find my ID card"......

And questions like this are all right for Sun Hualei, he is like a "living map" and a "know-it-all", and he basically answers everything he asks, "After all, I have been here all my life." It's a bit of an exaggeration, but it really knows every tree, every brick, every surveillance."

Sun Hualei is a native of Jinan, and his former home is on Bangpeng Street on the west side of Furong Street on Quancheng Road. After being discharged from the army in 1994, he was assigned to the Lixia District Public Security Bureau, where he served as a patrol officer and instructor, and then to the Quancheng Road Police Station in 2000. He has not left the community for 23 years since he joined the Furong Street community in 2001.

"Teacher, you can't hold the child like this, you still have to hold on. At the same time as "listening to all directions", Sun Hualei is also "watching the six roads" - he always keeps looking with his eyes, and then keenly predicts whether danger will occur. "The child was so young that he was led in. There are a lot of people on Furong Street, so what should I do if I don't pay attention to it and squeeze it."

Although she was "reprimanded", Ms. Yang, a tourist, still hugged the child with a smile, "People are doing this for our good."

So during this holiday, Sun Hualei heard "thank you" the most, and his "teacher" did not distinguish between you and me, but also gave passers-by a sense of belonging and security.

"Management can also have temperature"

"In principle, we are not allowed to put it here, and we are not responsible if we lose it. Faced with a tourist's request to temporarily leave the stroller at the door, Sun Hualei replied truthfully.

got the reply of "it's okay" from the tourists, and considering that they are a family of three, "holding the child and pushing the car, there are many people in Furong Street, which is inconvenient and unsafe", Sun Hualei did not make any more strong demands.

"In the past, there were many students who came with suitcases and asked if they could put things here, and we made it clear that in principle, they were not allowed. If the other party is more insistent, Sun Hualei will generally ask to open the box to see, and let them put the box here if there are no dangerous goods.

Sun Hualei feels that "management can also have temperature", and between you and me, the heat between people comes up.

Although he said that "it is not his own business", Sun Hualei still took it to heart, "To be honest, if there are really strangers who come to take other people's things, it is impossible for us to stand idly by."

Although it brings some extra work, "it is not a big problem, and some things have to be handled flexibly".

This experience also benefited from Sun Hualei's experience in dealing with neighbors in the neighborhood for more than 20 years. As a community police officer, Sun Hualei not only assumes the responsibility of public security management, but also plays the role of "community servant", and the latter has more and more components.

"In the past, when I was a police officer, I lost my temper at every turn. It's hard to imagine that Sun Hualei, who looks easy-going in front of him and always has a smile on his face, was once a "master" who loved to get angry. "When I communicate with residents, if I am anxious, they are even more anxious, and the matter cannot be resolved, but the conflict will intensify." After getting acquainted with the big guys, the "dealing" with each other is not limited to work, "the parents will talk to others, just like talking to their own family."

"As a community police officer, I don't experience many thrilling scenes, and what I face the most is things between neighbors. But Sun Hualei feels that trivial matters are also "no trivial matter", and everything in the jurisdiction is safe, which is his greatest achievement.

Over the past 23 years, Sun Hualei has gradually gained weight in the hearts of residents. He has also become more relaxed and able to be patient and helpful in the face of all kinds of tourists and citizens. "As long as everyone is safe and there are no accidents on site, it is the greatest peace of mind for us."

"Stick" is the norm

In fact, holiday work has become the norm for Sun Hualei. "This year, I was on duty on the evening of the Chinese New Year's Eve, and I got off work at 1 a.m. on the first day of the new year. So, he also spent a year on the empty streets with his fellow men.

During this year's May Day holiday, because he worked the night shift on May 1, he only had a day off on the 2nd - this was also his only day off during the 5-day holiday.

"The first priority on duty during the holiday is safety, and our job is to maintain normal order on Seremban Street. "East of the front street of the provincial capital, north of the moat, west of the Pearl Spring, and south of the Confucian Temple is the area under their jurisdiction, although it is only "one acre and three points of land", but the flow of people in the urban area of Jinan can be regarded as one of the best, especially during the holidays. So during the New Year's holidays, Sun Hualei is like "passing the test".

The times are advancing, and Sun Hualei also enjoys the convenience of science and technology. In the past few years, because of the smart monitoring platform, how many people have entered and exited the whole street and how many people have been stranded can be accurately counted, which also makes him feel a little more relaxed, but he can't take it lightly.

"We'll be briefing on the street in an hour now. "Generally, 5,000 people are stranded in a single cycle", and a certain bayonet can only go in and out, "like more than 4,700 people now, it is a relatively normal state, as long as there is no congestion at the door, you can't get in, you can't get out, we let it 'digest' first." Sun Hualei said that especially in the past two years, there have been more and more tourists on Furong Street, and the pressure on safety work has also increased.

"In the past, there were more guests from the surrounding provinces and cities, and now you can hear the accent of Tiannan and Haibei. Wearing a uniform and guarding the entrance, Sun Hualei feels that his every move also represents the image of the city, "empathy, if you go to a strange place, you will still ask the police if you have difficulties, in the final analysis, we also reflect the sense of security that a city can give people."

Having said that, it was also time for Sun Hualei to change shifts, and he didn't forget to explain a word about the stroller to his colleagues when he left.
