Chen Hong, director of the dermatology department of the hospital, said that not to mention staying in the grass for a long time, during the peak period of insect vector activity, even if you take a walk on the edge of the grass or climb a mountain, you may be bitten. Insect bite dermatitis is mostly treated with medications, both internal and external.
The reporter learned that in the past two days, Shaoxing Second Hospital, Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences Affiliated Hospital and other hospitals have also received many patients who have been bitten by poisonous insects when they go out to play. Wang Jinfeng, deputy chief physician of the Department of Dermatology of Shaoxing Second Hospital, said that now is a good time to visit in spring, but it is also a high season for poisonous insect bites.
"When camping or going out, it is best to wear long sleeves and long pants, and you can also apply safe insect repellent products appropriately to reduce the probability of being bitten by poisonous insects. If you go to the suburbs or mountains to camp or play, you must tighten the collar, cuffs, trouser legs, etc., and do not walk barefoot in the grass and bushes with sandals to prevent poisonous insect bites. Wang Jinfeng also reminded that try to avoid playing during the peak period of the appearance of poisonous insects (such as dusk and night). When you return from playing, you should take a shower and change your clothes in time. If there are small abnormal lumps on the skin, do not scratch them at will, and once you find a tick bite, do not forcibly pull out the tick to avoid tearing the skin and prevent the insect's mouthparts from breaking in the skin, but should seek medical attention as soon as possible.
