Mr. Ma Ying-jeou, former chairman of the Kuomintang in Taiwan Province, led 200 students to visit the Huanghuagang Uprising Martyrs Cemetery, which reminded me that I had also been to the Huanghuagang Martyrs Cemetery twice.
Once when I was young, there were no attractions in Guangzhou, and my mother took me to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Huanghuagang 72 Martyrs Cemetery, which was still original at that time.
I went from Zhuhai to Guangzhou to see my parents, and I visited the 72 Martyrs Cemetery in Huanghuagang.
On April 21, 1911, in order to overthrow the Qing Dynasty government, the Chinese League led by Huang Xing selected 130 members of the "Fengfeng" team from various places to go straight to the Liangguang Governor's Palace. There was a fierce battle in the alleys between the troops of the revolutionaries and the troops of the Liangguang Governor's Palace, and the final reason was that the rebel troops were outnumbered and the enemy was numerous, and after fierce fighting, the uprising failed.
Huang Xing, the leader of the uprising, led some of the insurrectionaries to move to Hong Kong, but the insurrectionists who failed to evacuate Guangzhou were unfortunately killed, and the Qing government threw the remains of the dead revolutionaries on the streets. Due to the situation at the time, the families of the martyrs did not dare to claim the bodies.
In his capacity as a reporter for the "Civilian Daily," Pan Dawei, a revolutionary, organized more than 100 people to take the risk of collecting 72 corpses and buried them in the eastern suburbs of Guangzhou on May 2 of that year.
After the founding of the Republic of China, in 1912, the Guangdong military, government and military government allocated 100,000 yuan to build the Huanghuagang Lietu Cemetery, and held an anniversary sacrifice on May 1 of that year.
In 1919, with the support of Lin Sen, the speaker of the Senate, overseas Chinese were mobilized to continue to build the cemetery. The main entrance was built in 1935.

Huanghuagang is the epitome of the Xinhai Revolution in China. I came here to learn about the hardships of Sun Yat-sen's leadership of the democratic revolution. Walking into this cemetery, I deeply felt how hard-won the victory of the revolution was!
Without the sacrifices and blood of our ancestors, there would be no happy life for our descendants today! Our predecessors planted trees and our descendants enjoyed the shade! Never forget those martyrs who sacrificed their lives!
Huanghuagang: In front of the door is the inscription of Sun Wen, the father of the nation, "The mighty spirit lasts forever."
Every Qingming Festival, many people come here to lay wreaths to express their respect for the 72 martyrs and other martyrs.

Walking out of the gate, I deeply felt that in the course of the revolution in China, no matter who you are, as long as you are a person who has contributed to the revolution, we must remember that the revolution has not yet succeeded: comrades still need to work hard!

"The mighty spirit lasts forever", this is Mr. Sun Wen's handwriting, and this is also the gate of the 72 martyrs of Huanghuagang.
Leaving here: I deeply feel that "the revolution has not yet succeeded, comrades still need to work hard" Mr. Sun Wen has already voiced this voice in the democratic revolution.
We must keep in mind the blood of the revolutionary martyrs, keep in mind history, and forge ahead!
