DC Hero/Anti-Heroism Scholar

author:Scourge to the world

A few weeks ago, a friend sent a private message to Scourge asking him to introduce a scholar from DC.

Many friends know the character of Savant from the DC live-action movie "Suicide Squad: All Assembled" released in 2021. The scholar in the movie is called Brian Doolin, played by Michael Rooker, who played the Marvel hero Yongdu.

DC Hero/Anti-Heroism Scholar

In fact, Brian Doolin was not the first scholar in the DC Universe, and the first scholar in the DC Universe was not even created by DC Corporation.

The first scholar, whose real name was Kenesha, was created by Wildstorm Studios, a division of IMAGE Comics, and first appeared in the 1994 comic Wildcat Agent #11.

Kenetha is a female superhero whose parents are members of the Wildcat Task Force "Mr. Mighty" Magistros and "Berserker" Lady Zana.

Kenetha is also a member of the Wildcat Operatives and has formed a team of explorers called the Savant Garde.

In 1999, Wild Storm Studios was acquired by DC Corporation, and the Wild Storm Universe became part of the DC Multiverse, and Kenetha was incorporated into the DC Multiverse.

#56中 the 2003 comic Birds of Prey, DC created its own scholar, Brian Doolin. He was a wealthy man who proclaimed himself a vigilante, but then he gradually went astray and began to extort money. As a result, Brian became an enemy of the Raptor Squad, a team of female heroes.

Later, he became an ally of the Raptor Squad.

After the DC Universe reboot in 2011, Brian became a member of the Suicide Squad.

Let's talk about DC's scholars.

Kenesha

Kenesa's father is Mr. "Mr. Majestros" and his mother is Lady Zanna "Berserker", both from the planet Khera.

The women of Hera can no longer be warriors if they become mothers, so Lady Zanna faces a dilemma after becoming pregnant. Mrs. Zanna's mother, Harmony Harmony, came up with a solution for Lady Zanna, who, after giving birth to the child, claimed that the child was dead before birth, and that her child, Kenesa, was raised by Harmony as Harmony Daughter, Lady Zanna's sister.

Lady Zanna came to Earth and joined the Korda Sisterhood and became a Berserker.

Kenesa, on the other hand, does not like to fight, she loves history and is obsessed with archaeology. As an archaeologist, Kenetha has discovered many ancient mysterious objects.

In modern times, Berserkers have built a team of heroes, the Wildcat Agents, to fight against the Devilmen. But the members of this team appear to have been killed.

Kenesa, in the name of a scholar, joins forces with Mr. Majestic to form a new team of Wildcat agents, carrying on the legacy of Lady Zanna's team.

Kenesa didn't know who she really was, and certainly didn't know that Mr. Majestic was her father.

During this time, Kenetha has a love affair with teammate TAO, but the team has been manipulated by TAO behind his back. After learning of this, Kenetha broke up with TAO.

Mr. Majestic kills TAO, only to find out that he killed Mr. White, who was brainwashed by TAO, and the real TAO escapes.

Kenetha left the Wildcat team to resume archaeological and expeditionary activities, forming the Scholar Guard to accompany her on her expeditions to Peru.

Lady Charles "Nemesis" appears and forms an alliance with the Excalibur Brotherhood and the Devilmen in an attempt to rule the entire Earth. Kenetha joins forces with Berserker and Mr. Majestic to lead the Wildcat operatives against Nemesis.

The Berserker reveals her true identity to Kenesha.

Brian Doolin

Brian Doolin inherits a large family legacy, and he moves to Gotham City to become a vigilante scholar.

However, Batman stopped Brian because of his lack of willingness to protect others.

Brian began to use his powerful computer technology to start committing crimes. Brian also recruited a number of henchmen, and former KGB member Alexander Cleott became Brian's henchman. Alexander was a loyal henchman of the Scholar and had a crush on the Scholar. (Evil LGBT+ again)

In order to extract Batman's true identity from the oracle, the scholar kidnaps the Black Canary, but soon the huntress defeats the scholar with the oracle's technical support and frees the Black Canary.

Subsequently, the oracle tried to whitewash the scholars, mainly to preserve the scholars' data on hundreds of supervillains.

The scholar is a genius, but for special physical reasons, he exhibits non-linear memory and is very forgetful.

The scholar's affection for the oracle stems from his jealousy of the oracle's computer talent.

Under the control of the oracle, the scholars cleaned up a neighborhood in Gotham City.

In order to deal with the oracle, the calculator unraveled the secret of the oracle and sent a supervillain secret society to kidnap and torture the scholar. However, due to non-linear memory, scholars have resisted torture and interrogation. Days of torture and interrogation in his memory, which lasted only a few hours.

The Raptor team rescues the Scholar, and the Scholar throws the Black Spider out of the window in anger, thanks to which the Black Spider is not dead, and the Raptor Team does not condemn the Scholar's murder, but the Scholar's contact with the Raptor Team is severed.

When the Spysmister attempts to take over the Raptor Squad from the oracle, the oracle gathers all the former members of the Raptor Squad and her friends to fight the Spysmister together. Among them were scholars and Alexander Cliot.

Later, the Scholar and Alexander Cleot accept an invitation from the Birds of Prey, with the Scholar serving as the team's technician, and Alexander becoming the team's bodyguard.

Later, the calculator recruited scholars to help him infiltrate the oracle's system. Eventually, it is revealed that the Scholar is actually a double agent for the Birds of Prey and helps the Birds of Prey fake the oracle's death.

In the re-encounter between the scholar and Batman, it can be seen that neither side has forgotten the hostility of the other.

Brian Doolin after the reboot

In 2011, DC launched the big event "Flashpoint" to reboot the universe, and after the reboot, Brian changed drastically.

The story of his origins is unknown, and he was already a scholar when he first appeared.

During their first mission, the Scholar and the Suicide Team are captured by the enemy, who torture the team. This is actually Amanda Waller's test of the suicide squad, the scholar fails, he collapses under torture and tells everything he knows.

The scholar was taken away and apparently executed.

However, it was later revealed that the Scholar's betrayal was actually arranged by Amanda Waller to intimidate the rest of the team. As a result, he received a significant reduction in his sentence.

Before the scholar was released, he was assigned one last assignment, recruiting Harley Quinn back to the squad.

During this time, he got into an altercation with the Death Shooter.

DC Hero/Anti-Heroism Scholar

The scholar and the Death Shooter storm the Gotham City Police Station, where Harley Quinn is being held, but the duo does not kill any cops. The scholar finds Harley and fights her.

It wasn't until Hallie lured the scholar into stepping on a pressure mine that the two stopped fighting.

The Death Shooter shot Hallie, and the two took her back to Bellev Prison and handed her over to Amanda Waller.

The scholar declines Amanda Waller's invitation to join the Suicide Squad and turns away, but he agrees to keep the Suicide Squad's secret.

DC Hero/Anti-Heroism Scholar

After the reboot, the scholar has changed dramatically from the look to the story to the traits, and he has no relationship with the oracle and the Raptor team, but has become a member of the suicide team who did not have any intersection before the reboot.

That's all for the DC Scholars.
