The fifth meeting of the 17th People's Congress of Zhongyang County voted on April 30, 2024 to determine 8 practical projects for people's livelihood in 2024:
(1) Implement the county and township passenger transport free ride and intercity bus subsidy project, so that the masses can share the fruits of economic and social development.
(2) On the basis of renovating and upgrading the existing pedestrian bridge, it is planned to build a county seat Binhe West Road across the 340 provincial highway overpass to facilitate the safe travel of the masses.
(C) reasonable planning and setting up urban road parking spaces, special road sections one-way, classified time-sharing charge management, improve the efficiency of the use of public resources, to meet the parking needs of the masses.
(4) Install and renovate the road street lamps such as the northern extension of the magnetic kiln to illuminate the road of happiness for the masses.
(5) The county plans to build 80 new energy vehicle charging piles to "refuel and empower" the masses for green travel.
(6) Reward and subsidize planting, breeding, processing and other characteristic agricultural industries with good results in bringing poverty and helping the poor, so as to help the masses steadily increase their income.
(7) Coordinate and integrate all kinds of resources, add municipal fire hydrants in the main streets of urban areas, establish small fire stations in urban areas and townships, and build a safe "firewall" at the door of the masses.
(8) Pay basic medical insurance for the elderly over 70 years old in the county, so that more people can share the dividends of economic development.
