Faced with the problem of iron loss in the steelmaking process, Su Yongbo launched a key action of "reducing the total iron content in the slag", and successfully reduced the total iron content in the steelmaking slag by 5 percentage points through a series of innovative measures, reducing the cost per ton of steel by 10.89 yuan, and the annual economic benefit was as high as more than 20 million yuan. At the same time, he also optimized the oxygen lance blowing control mode and the long-life maintenance process of the bottom blowing system to ensure that the iron yield is always high.
