Mr. Fensheng enlightened
On May 1, 1886, 350,000 workers in Chicago and other cities in the United States held strikes and demonstrations to demand better working conditions and the implementation of the eight-hour working day, and the strike was won. In order to commemorate the strike struggle of the American workers, the inaugural meeting of the Second International held in 1889 decided to designate May 1, a symbol of the unity, struggle and victory of the working class, as International Labor Day.
