On May 1, Beijing time, Oklahoma State rookie forward Brandon Garrison announced on social media that he would transfer to the NCAA University of Kentucky.
Brandon Garrison
Garrison is a McDonald's All-Star from the class of 2023, from Oklahoma, 6-11 (2.11 meters), averaged 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in his freshman season, originally thought to be a rivalry between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma, but then Arkansas and Kentucky joined his recruitment, and in the end the Wildcats won, and interestingly, he had never visited the University of Kentucky before.
Brandon Garrison
Garrison is an excellent defender and rebounder who helped the U.S. win the U18 U.S. Championship in 2022, while Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton was an assistant coach for the U18 U.S. team, but Boynton was fired at the end of the 2023-24 season and subsequently joined the University of Michigan as an assistant coach.

Garrison is the fifth transfer student of new Kentucky coach Mark Pope this offseason, which includes University of Oklahoma guard Otega Oweh, Drexel University England forward Amari Williams, San Diego State guard Lamont Butler and Wake Forest forward Andrew Carr.
