China Gansu Net, May 1 (Northwest Corner, China Gansu Net Reporter Cheng Jian) On the evening of April 30, the large-scale water curtain live drama "Reproducing Diao Chan" successfully premiered in Xizhou Mingyuan, Lintao County, marking the country's first Diao Chan-themed garden-style live performance that took two years to carefully polish and create, which kicked off the prelude to the normalized performance and officially met with the audience.
In recent years, Lintao County has vigorously implemented the strategy of "Famous Cultural County", and has planned and implemented a number of cultural tourism projects such as Majiayao Cultural Research and Exhibition Center, Great Wall National Cultural Park, and Taohe Ruyi Bay. In particular, the Xizhou Ming Garden, which exhibits "Reproducing Diao Chan", covers a total area of about 714 acres and invests about 170 million yuan, which is a cultural and tourism leisure complex integrating "live performance, homestay experience, leisure and health care, food taste, water entertainment, commercial and cultural display, and new business incubation" through the wholly-owned acquisition and state-owned assets restructuring of Lintao County, forming a diversified and comprehensive "Western Garden" scenic spot, which was officially opened on April 28.
"Reproduction of Diao Chan" is based on the legend of Diao Chan as the background, through the use of group dance performances, water mist effects, Weiya stunts and other artistic means, integrated into Lintao calligraphy and painting, flowers, painted pottery, Tao Yan and other intangible cultural heritage elements to create a large-scale water curtain live drama, the whole drama with "wind, water, moon, fire, flowers, love" as the main line, the overall plot poetic, content imagery, visual freehand, presenting a set of poetry, painting, music, dance, shadow and other art forms and imagery expression in one of the water, land and air visual feast.
Zhang Zhenya, secretary of the Lintao County Party Committee, said at the opening ceremony that the creation and rehearsal of the play has filled the gap in the large-scale live performance repertoire of Lintao County, and has a very important role in promoting the further prosperity of the county's cultural and artistic undertakings and enhancing the brand image of Lintao cultural county.
