A Chinese-American president who runs a real estate company in Japan said, "Ninety percent of our customers are from China, and about 30 inquiries per month are related to Bunkyo Ward. Because many Chinese parents are desperately trying to send their children to these public primary schools in Wenjing District in order to seek a high-quality educational environment. Some of them also specify the neighborhood where they want to live, because if you want to go to a public school in Japan, you have to live within the designated area, otherwise you won't be able to enroll......"
The Japanese are still very sensitive to the "Chinese-style education" that has been rolled into Japan.
