Form plays an important role in the different stages of development and different creative categories of photography. In the modernist stage, photography took the ultimate expression of the media form as one of the original intentions of creation. It is precisely because of this that it got rid of the imitation of painting and finally entered the field of art. It is widely believed that documentary photography is important for recording social phenomena.

But at the same time, photographers are also trying to find a better form of recording in order to make the best results of the photos. Isn't this the case with Bresson's theory of the "decisive moment"?

Form is the externalization of the emotions of the artist's life. Facing the same object, different photographers will take different photos, and different expressions will be generated. This difference is caused by the photographer's style, and after concretization, it is the visual feedback of the difference in form. Some photographers are more adept at expressing themselves in form, such as William Klein and the "provocative" groups represented by Moriyama Daichi in japan in the 1960s, all expressing their dissatisfaction with the society of the time and their own resistance in the form of shaking, blurring and coarse grain.

For street photography, I think that the starting point of its creation is to record the bits and pieces of people's lives in society and the current situation, as well as some interesting moments that people ignore or are not easy to detect.

On the other hand, excellent photographic works can find unique scenes and interesting things from the aspects of history, humanities, society, era, life, spirit, environment, etc. in the creation, record various scenes with the language of photography, and present the photographer's expression while recording.

After this class, I also began to summarize and sort out the previous photos on the basis of improving my understanding of street photography. This final homework is divided into five parts: "Image Rhythm", "Light and Shadow Fun", "Multiple Spaces", "Element Echo", and "Life Fragments" to show his photographic works. Through collation, I also found that there are many immature places in my photos at this stage, and I cannot better refine the theme and form in a complicated society.

I like the storytelling, fun, momentariness and readability of the photo pictures, in addition to the unique charm of humanistic photography that cannot be copied, which deeply attracted me and made me fall in love with street photography.

When shooting, I shoot in a respectful, non-intrusive way. Communicate with the subject appropriately when needed so that others do not reject my photographic behavior.

As the shooting continued, I felt that the photos not only recorded the daily life of the people and their joys and sorrows, but also brought me more interpretation and connotation, so I tried to do it: "Invite the viewer with the photo, and each viewer understands the work with his own ideas."

Li Jin

Li Jin, female, born in 1957, now lives in Chengdu, began to contact cameras after retirement, studied photography in 2015, and is now mainly street photography.

Bookstores have become an important carrier of knowledge production, but also a microcosm of society.

Zhong Shu Ge is a well-known chain bookstore, and its clever division of internal space has aroused my creative interest, and I have taken these photos with a strong sense of space.

Hou Tai

Born in 1962, he now lives in Beijing, and began to engage in photography activities in 2017, mainly taking photos of ancient buildings.
