In order to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's cultural thought and further promote the national reading work, on April 29, the county party committee organized a reading club with the theme of "Reading Yuemei and Scholarly Fragrance", and took this opportunity to fully launch the 2024 annual national reading series of activities.
At the meeting, the person in charge of the compilation office shared the "congratulatory letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping to the first national reading conference" to all cadres and workers; all cadres and workers collectively watched the feature film "Reading is my lifelong hobby"; the relevant person in charge of the compilation office read out the "National Reading Proposal of the County Party Committee"; all cadres and workers collectively recited the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China" (excerpts) under the leadership of employee representatives, and exchanged and shared their reading experiences around the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China".
In order to better build a "scholarly editing office", the meeting advocated that all cadres and workers do a good job in two reading goals. The first is to adhere to the pursuit of "looking at the end of the world", endure the coldness of "gradually widening the belt", and discover the pleasant beauty of "the light is dark". Read a book for an hour a day, read a book a month, feel the beauty of words, and enjoy reading. Establish the concept of "lifelong learning", make reading truly a habit, improve the state of life, nourish the spirit of Haoran, and cultivate forward momentum in reading. The second is to read more broad and profound cultural classics, read more positive new books and good books, and consciously cultivate the values of patriotism, dedication, integrity, and friendliness. Maintain ideological vitality, acquire knowledge nutrients, enrich and wonderful life in reading, and extensively dabble in the reading of publications such as the history of the Party, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, the history of socialist development, the history of the development of the Chinese nation, Party discipline and regulations, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, so that reading can truly become a healthy way of life, and actively participate in the theme reading club activities organized by the organ, recommend good books and share experiences.
