Today (April 30) is the last working day before the "May Day" holiday, and many travelers choose to return to their hometowns in advance for the holiday. According to the ticketing system, the transportation bus long-distance south station is expected to send more than 50,000 passengers during the "May Day" period, and the peak travel will be concentrated this afternoon and tomorrow. In order to effectively cope with the large passenger flow during the festival and ensure the on-site order and the smooth travel of passengers, the long-distance south station of Jiaoyun Bus has made a large passenger flow plan in advance and actively raised transportation capacity to meet the travel needs of the majority of passengers.
Towards noon, the number of passengers coming to the waiting hall of the long-distance south station gradually increased. Many of the passengers were carrying suitcases and large bags, the waiting hall was full, and some of the popular departures were sold out in advance.
Judging from the pre-sale situation, the main passenger flow direction of today's travel is mainly short-distance homecoming, and the passenger flow is concentrated from afternoon to evening. In order to disperse the flow of waiting passengers, the station opened the VIP waiting room, the underground waiting room and the temporary ticket gate underground in advance, and sent additional volunteers to guide the passengers to provide more spacious waiting space and fast ticket inspection channels.
Today, the South Long-distance Station will extend its operating hours until 19:30. It is expected that more than 400 flights will be sent today, and nearly 15,000 passengers will be sent. Popular directions include Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Shengzhou, Ningbo, Cixi, Yuyao, Putuo, Huzhou and Haiyan in Zhejiang, and Qidong, Haimen, Zhangjiagang, Taixing and Changzhou in Jiangsu. Among them, there are more than 200 overtime classes, and there are more overtime trains in Hangzhou and Shaoxing.
In addition, today and tomorrow, in view of the direction of some railway capacity constraints, the long-distance south station has also temporarily opened some directions of flights, involving the direction of Changzhou, Nanjing, Jiangsu, Wuhan, Hubei, Zhejiang, Luqiao, Tiantai, Wenzhou, etc., passengers with travel needs can pay attention to the frequency information in time.
