In order to help comprehensively promote the "Millions and Thousands of Projects", respond to the soul-casting action of Futian Cultural Strong Zone, and further help Futian build a highland for the development of public cultural space in the new era! In 2023, 4 performances have been successfully landed, including folk music, improvisational drama, holographic 3D concert, and electronic music party, presenting a diverse new look of Huaqiangbei Museum!
From February to April, three groups of 30 artists, including Yayun Art Troupe, Xiaoman Percussion Ensemble, and Shanlai Band, took turns to appear in the Future Dream Hall, and the three different performance themes brought a fresh sense of experience to many citizens.
On February 24th, the "Wonderful Lantern Festival Tour" was performed in the form of folk music and ancient dance, opening the first show of the Year of the Dragon in the upcoming music and art flash mob series. On that day, four artists dressed in gorgeous Roselle costumes staged a magnificent performance in the Future Dream Hall. The performers played ancient music with the guzheng, or danced lightly, showing their graceful posture, and also shuttled and paraded through the whole hall of the Huaqiangbei Museum, sending good New Year's wishes with the power of art.
On March 9th, the Xiaoman Percussion Ensemble wore the original Indian costumes and took the stage with hand discs, African drums and a series of natural instruments. The youth group and the adult group of the Xiaoman Percussion Ensemble work together tacitly, and through different rhythmic combinations and changes, they skillfully integrate the ancient sounds, either quiet and profound, or smart and melodious, creating the sound of early spring, so that the sound of the wilderness echoes in every corner of the Huaqiangbei Museum, attracting many visitors to stop and appreciate.
In the jazz music special on April 13, the Shanlai Band integrated jazz elements into the music.
A number of jazz songs are performed in classic performances, in the lazy melody, light songs and dances, in an elegant way, to taste the beauty of jazz. Huaqiangbei Museum is not only a display window of science and technology, but also a "new identity" - Jazz Club has been added to the electronic music stage and natural stage, where technology and art are intertwined, and innovation and tradition are intertwined and resonated.
In response to the International Museum Day on May 18, Huaqiangbei Museum will launch a series of activities to attract the public to understand, participate and pay attention to the museum. The last theme performance of the "Exploring the Arts Flash Mob Series", the "HK Phil Classics Concert", will be a strong support for International Museum Day, where the Ten Fingers Workers Band will sing more than 10 classic songs of the HK Phil and "burn" the HK Phil era records with the audience!
It is understood that the "Exploring the Arts - Music and Art Flash Mob Series" will start on October 21, 2023 and will last until May 18, 2024. In the form of art performances, the event fully explores the new ways of playing the museum, promotes the diversified integration of science and technology and art, focuses on innovation and empowerment, helps build a cultural highland in the central city of Shenzhen, and promotes the "Millions and Thousands Project" to go deeper and more practical.
