Since conversion efficiency is crucial to power generation, once IBC is developed on a large scale, the cost will be further reduced, and the increase in power generation brought by its conversion efficiency will increase the revenue of photovoltaic power plants.

Some clues can also be seen from the dynamics of some current TOPCon projects. As of the end of December 2023, 50.6GW of PERC cell capacity has been closed or stopped, and 132GW of TOPCon projects are facing a suspended expansion, which is so large.
