1. 4 people were investigated by the public security organs on suspicion of constituting criminal offenses;
2. There were 32 employees who took advantage of their work positions to provide assistance to outsiders and accept benefits, as well as used false materials to make illegal reimbursements, take taxis, and obtain housing subsidies;
3. 8 employees violated ByteDance's conflict of interest policy;
4. There are 17 people who have obtained, stored, and leaked the company's internal information in violation of regulations, and handed over the company's internal systems containing sensitive data to external personnel for use.
On March 29, 2024, Douyin Group (i.e., ByteDance) just released the "2023 Douyin Group Anti-Fraud Notice". In 2023, Douyin Group investigated and dealt with a total of 177 cases of fraud violations, of which 136 people were dismissed for violating the integrity red line, and 23 people were transferred to the judicial authorities for suspected violations and crimes.
