In this materialistic era, many people pursue luxury and sophistication, but in my small county, there is a different kind of simplicity that is popular. There is no hustle and bustle of the metropolis, and there is no expensive consumption pressure, everything seems so natural and pure. I have chosen this attitude to life: no comparison, no waste, every penny has to be spent on the blade. My home is the best way to interpret this philosophy of life – simple, clean, yet welcoming.
The May Day holiday was approaching, and when others were planning to travel, I decided not to go anywhere. I want to stay in my well-appointed home and enjoy my own little world. Freshly bought plants in the corner add a touch of life to this simple space, shelves lined with my selection of books as my best companions in my spare time, soft sofas, warm lighting, and the essential watermelons, air conditioning, and wifi make for the perfect vacation.
I will spend this holiday season slowing down and savoring every detail of life. I don't have to rush to the attractions, I don't have to worry about the crowds, just a cup of tea and a good book can make me intoxicated. In such a minimalist life, I found inner peace and contentment.
This is my small county life, although there are no flashy decorations, no extravagant consumption, it gives me freedom and comfortable space to be able to really be myself. On this May Day, I choose to keep my distance from the world and be intimate with my little world.
