Under the encirclement and interception of Xiang Jiajun, Liu Bang was finally forced into a desperate situation, and the person who surrounded him was Ding Gong.
At the critical moment, Liu Bang also cared about his face, and whispered to Ding Gong desperately: "Brother, you and I are both heroes in the world, why do you want to kill each other?" The words were full of sincerity and humility, trying to persuade Ding Gong to leave a way for him to live.
In the face of Liu Bang's words, no one knew what Ding Gong thought in his heart, maybe out of kindness, but more for the sake of his own future, and finally released Liu Bang.
The reason is also very simple, if Xiang Yu wins, he can be rewarded, and if Liu Bang's side wins, he can also be favored.
After Liu Bang escaped from danger, he and Xiang Yu started a tug-of-war in Xingyang, relying on strong logistics capabilities and human resources to consume Xiang Yu to death step by step.
After Liu Bang seized the world, Ding Gong chose to surrender to Liu Bang, in his eyes, he had saved Liu Bang's life, and the other party should have expressed it.
However, Liu Bang's behavior was unexpected, and after grabbing Duke Ding, he said to his subordinates: "This person is a courtier of King Xiang, but he is not loyal to King Xiang, and it is precisely because of such people that King Xiang has lost the ...... of the world" and then beheaded Duke Ding.
Although Liu Bang's behavior makes people feel unkind, it also shows people's pursuit of loyalty from the side, and any person who is two-faced and half-hearted will not end well, isn't it the same with Han Xin in the same period?
From this point of view, it is a life choice not to put all your eggs in one basket before making a life choice. However, once you make a choice, you must be principled, and you can't eat what is in the bowl and look at what is in the pot.
This principle is not only applicable to ancient times, but also applies to modern shopping malls and workplaces, do not step on two boats in interpersonal communication, position and friendship are very important, only make like-minded allies, only firm their own position, in order to go further on the road of life.
Lü Bu was a well-known "three-surnamed domestic slave" during the Three Kingdoms period, however, the general Zhang Liao had more followers than him, so why did no one insult him? On the contrary, he became a well-known five-son general under Cao Cao.
This is because when Zhang Liao follows each lord, he will be dedicated and use all his strength, only when the previous lord dies will he choose another good wood, the former is a choice, and the latter is an attitude, since the choice must be loyal from the first.

Although Guo Ziyi was nearly seventy years old, he often set up lavish banquets and gathered beautiful women to sing and dance to show that he had no interest in power, so that the emperor could feel at ease and not suspicious.
It's not enough to guard against the emperor, Guo Ziyi also has to guard against villains, because "it's hard to be a good person, and it's even more difficult to be a good general." During the Tang Dynasty, there was a man named Lu Qi who was very ugly, but this person was well versed in politics, and his career in politics also climbed rapidly.
Once he went to visit Guo Ziyi, usually when guests come to Guo Ziyi, they are directly received, but this time he hurriedly asked his family to retreat. Afterwards, the family did not understand very much, but Guo Ziyi explained:

Third, learn to identify your strengths and build on them to avoid your weaknesses
"Guiguzi Quan" says: "Therefore, the wise man does not use his shortcomings, but uses the strengths of fools, and does not use his clumsiness, but uses the work of fools." ”
The meaning of this sentence is also very simple, that is, when employing people, we must know how to use others' strengths to make up for our own shortcomings, don't always focus on others' shortcomings, but learn to find what they are proficient in, to put it bluntly, it is to promote their strengths and avoid weaknesses.
A typical example in the history of the mainland is Liu Bang, who once said something like this:
"In the planning of the husband's plan, the decisive victory is thousands of miles away, and I am not as good as the ovary. Town the country, care for the people, give naan, endless food, I am not as good as Xiao He. Even an army of millions, the battle will be won, the attack must be taken, I am not as good as Han Xin. ”
This sentence may be Liu Bang's modest words, but it can also be seen that he knows the strengths of Zhang Liang, Xiao He and Han Xin, and he knows where to put the three of them to give full play to the greatest effect.
So at the end of this sentence, there is another sentence: "These three are all outstanding people, I can use them, and I take the world from them." ”
I think that Han Xin was just a halberd under Xiang Yu, and Xiao He was just an inconspicuous petty official in the Qin Dynasty, but in the hands of Liu Bang, he became the founder of the country.

If Liu Bang himself was able to defeat the world? Absolutely impossible? During the Battle of Pengcheng, he had an army of 560,000 in his hands, but in the end he was defeated by Xiang Yu's army of 30,000, which shows that his military ability is an absolute shortcoming in front of Xiang Yu and Han Xin.
Although Liu Bang's military, strategy and execution ability is not good, his political wisdom and management ability are very high, he knows how to win the hearts of the people (Chapter 3 of the Law), knows how to disguise himself, and knows how to unload the mill and kill the donkey after success......
