After the warm-up led by professionals, more than 300 hiking enthusiasts from the Yangtze River Delta region set off from the Linhai Tianchi Scenic Area in the sound of the whistle, and walked along the Suzhou Sports Tourism Boutique Route, passing through Yanmu Village, Xianhu Village, Xiannan Village, and finally arriving at the end point Jiuliqiao Village Jiuli Zhangyuan, with a total distance of about 8.8 kilometers.
Walking in the shade of the trees, getting close to the beautiful ecology, talking with 10,000 acres of forest, freezing each step of the "wonderful", and appreciating the "spring" all the way. In order to welcome the upcoming "May Day" International Labor Day, employees from Taoyuan Town, village (community) staff and enterprise employees also actively participated in it, advocating national fitness in the way of walking, and fully demonstrating the positive spirit of workers.
The organizers of the event set up 4 supply points along the route to provide drinking water, sports functional drinks, fruits, bread and other materials, and the New Era Civilization Practice Station along the route also sent volunteers to serve at the points to provide high-quality logistics support for the event.
Taoyuan has more than 60,000 acres of forests, with the landscape of water town plain forests and water network wetlands, it has become a rare ecological highland in the Yangtze River Delta ecological green integrated development demonstration area. The 11.5-kilometer shoreline Taoyuan section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal has been nourishing Taoyuan for thousands of years, with rich cultural heritage and rich historical relics, with unique value of Wuyue culture, ancient town culture, canal culture, red culture and winemaking culture, and has been rated as a famous historical and cultural town in Jiangsu Province.
In recent years, Taoyuan Town has further promoted the national fitness movement, focused on building a higher level of national fitness public service system, promoted the integrated development of sports + agriculture, + culture and + tourism, actively carried out various brand events such as hiking, cycling, orienteering, camping, etc., continued to launch the "Linhai Dream" forest sports tourism brand, and explored the "Taoyuan Road" to practice ecological and green development.
