A new player in the electric motorcycle market, UK-based Maeving, wants to add personality to its users' daily commute with its Cafe-inspired electric two-wheelers.
The RM1 and RM1S have a faux "fuel tank", a bobtail single-seater, a racing design, and the pipes that hold the wires from the battery to the controller also look like a fictional exhaust system, which looks really cool.
Both variants feature spoked wheels and front and rear disc brakes, and in terms of colours, there are up to 11 colours to choose from.
In terms of performance, the RM1 is an entry-level product for beginners and short city commutes.
Its Bosch in-wheel motor delivers a nominal output of close to 3 kW (about 4 hp). The motor has a peak power of 4.4 kW (about 5.8 hp) and a top speed of 72 km/h.
The car has 3 riding modes, the battery is removable, RM1 promises to travel 65 to 130 km on a single charge, and the price is 6,495 US dollars, about 47,000 yuan, which is still not cheap.
As for the RM1S, it has a nominal power of 7 kW (9.4 hp) and a maximum power of 10.5 kW (14 hp), which is more than double the power of the RM1S, so it is not only faster, but it can reach a top speed of 113 km/h, which is much faster than the RM1S.
For those who are looking for speed and performance, riding the RM1S is even more fun.
Considering the RM1S's weight of 133kg (including two batteries), a range of 130km on a single charge is also quite good. Correspondingly, it costs 8,995 US dollars, or about 65,000 yuan, to buy a RM1S.
It should be said that whether it is a fuel car or an electric car, retro will never go out of style. Do you like this design?
