Daxing Airport announced today (April 29) that during the "May Day" holiday, Daxing Airport is expected to guarantee 660,000 inbound and outbound passengers, and the peak day of passenger flow will appear on the first day of the holiday. During the festival, passengers travel mainly to travel and visit relatives, and the domestic routes from Beijing Daxing to Zhuhai, Dunhuang, Yanji, as well as Singapore, Malaysia and other countries have a high seat capacity.
During the May Day holiday in 2024 (May 1 to May 5), Daxing Airport is expected to guarantee 4,364 flights and transport 661,700 inbound and outbound passengers, and the peak day of passenger flow is expected to occur on May 1. During the holiday period, passengers travel mainly to travel and visit relatives, and the domestic and foreign aviation markets show a strong trend.
Pan Xiaofang, hub product planning business manager of the aviation business department of Daxing Airport, said that since the change of flight plans in the summer and autumn of 2024, Daxing Airport has reached 133 domestic navigation points, and 24 airlines have recently operated between international and regional airports, with 32 navigation points. South Korea's Jeju Air has opened a new flight from Beijing Daxing to Jeju at Daheung Airport. In terms of international route network, the focus is on the Middle East and Southeast Asia to provide convenient travel conditions for passengers.

During the "May Day" holiday, China United Airlines encrypted the capacity of popular routes, and plans to open new international routes in the future.
Zhang Yingying, deputy general manager of the commercial department of China United Airlines, said that up to now, China United Airlines' routes from Beijing Daxing to Ningbo, Lanzhou, Chengdu Tianfu, Xiamen and Fuzhou are among the top five routes most chosen by China United Airlines passengers. In terms of international routes, China United Airlines plans to open international routes from Beijing Daxing to Russia during the peak season.

According to the statistics of Beijing border inspection, during the May Day holiday, the flow of inbound and outbound passengers increased by about 20% compared with before the holiday, and the routes between Beijing Daxing and Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and other countries were relatively hot.
Li Xin, director of the Border Inspection Division of the Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station of Beijing Daxing Airport, said that during the festival, special channels will be opened to facilitate rapid customs clearance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, the disabled, and other groups in need of assistance; special personnel will be arranged to handle fast customs clearance on the spot for children and eligible foreign passengers, as well as Chinese passengers who have applied for passports abroad; and additional police forces will be dispatched at the scene of domestic transfer to international transfer at Daxing Airport to ensure that other cities can quickly leave the country through Daxing Airport.
