1. Inspection of tires.
The inspection of the tires is the most important, and the tires should be inspected even if they are not inspected anywhere. Because tires are rubber parts, they are prone to aging and injury. If there is a problem with the tire and the tire bursts while driving, the potential safety hazard is very large, and it is easy to cause serious traffic accidents if it is not well controlled. Especially if the front wheel is punctured, the direction will suddenly lose control, and it is difficult for novices to stop smoothly. There are three aspects of tire inspection, tire pressure, aging degree and whether there are nails or injuries. Tire pressure is the most basic check, and correct tire pressure is the key to safe driving. The second is the degree of aging of the tire, if the tire has a large number of cracks, the crack is long and wide, it means that the tire is aging, and it needs to be replaced at high speed. Finally, if the tire has nails, or if there is a side injury that exposes the cord inside, it will also need to be replaced. The sidewall of the tire is the thinnest place, and the puncture is also caused by the sidewall injury, so the sidewall is the key place to check.
In addition to normal tires, spare tires should also be checked, mainly air pressure. Because once the tire is punctured and deflated, there is a spare tire that can be replaced by itself, which will save a lot of time and rescue costs. 2. Inspection of lights
Lights may not seem to have a big impact, but when you're driving in the evening or facing the sun, they can have a big impact. All lights are checked, especially brake lights. The other lights can be checked by themselves, and the brake lights need two people, one person presses the brake and the other person observes from behind. When checking the brake lights, you need to turn off all the lights and check again, because some brake bulbs are the same as the small bulbs, but there are two luminous filaments inside. If the small light is on, the position of the brake light is also on, and it is not easy to see even if the brake light is broken. No matter where you're driving, brake lights are crucial to let the car behind you know you're braking and can take action in advance. If the brake light is not on, the car behind will not know that the car in front is braking at the first time, and it may be too late to find out.
3. Check the brakes
This is a component that affects safety because it is a wear and tear part that needs to be replaced frequently. Some people need to change once after 30,000 kilometers, and some people can run 70,000 or 80,000 kilometers before changing. Before running long distances, you need to check and confirm, and if it is thin, you need to replace it in time. In the unlikely event that the brake pads are worn to the limit at high speeds, the iron blades and the brake discs will rub against each other, and the braking force is very small, and even normal braking may not be able to brake. In addition, the iron plate of the brake pad will wear out the brake disc, increasing the maintenance cost.
4. Inspection of various oils
The main check of oil is whether it is missing, including engine oil, brake fluid, antifreeze, these have the lowest scale and the highest scale, the liquid level can be seen with the naked eye, and the oil can be seen when the oil is pulled out of the dipstick, as long as it is not lower than the minimum scale. In addition, do not forget to check the glass water, and you need to add it yourself when the glass is level. Once there is dirt on the glass when running at high speed, it is impossible to brush the glass without glass water, and the dry brush will not only not be brushed off, but will also wear out the wiper blades.
5. Inspection of the chassis
The chassis is mainly checked to see if it has been bumped, and whether there are oil leakage parts, including the engine, gearbox and brake oil pipes, etc., the slight oil leakage of the engine and gearbox is not a big problem, the key is not to have oil dripping. Finally, look at whether each tie rod is deformed, and whether the rubber sleeve in each place is aging and about to fall off.
6. Check the belt
The belt has a fixed replacement cycle, which varies greatly from model to model. Some are 60,000 kilometers in 3 years, and some are 100,000 kilometers in 5 years. However, it is possible to decide whether it needs to be replaced according to the actual situation. Just look at the degree of aging with your eyes, if there are many small cracks on the belt, or if there is severe wear, then the belt is aging and it is time to replace it. Usually driving at low speed in urban areas, there will be no problem if the belt is aging for a long time. However, after getting on the highway, the speed is very fast, the load of the engine is very large, and the force of the belt is very large, and the aging belt is easy to break.
