Recently, the traffic police detachment of the Huanggang Municipal Public Security Bureau contacted the Huanggang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau to study and carry out a special rectification action plan for three- and four-wheeled low-speed electric vehicles, set up a special rectification work class, and randomly inspected 8 electric vehicle sales points in Huangzhou urban area and surrounding towns, and found that 3 batches of three- and four-wheeled low-speed electric vehicles were suspected of "three no" products, and 11 three-wheeled and four-wheeled low-speed electric vehicles were found not included in the "announcement" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The special inspection focuses on investigating and dealing with whether the vehicle is produced in accordance with the national standard, whether there are "three no" products, whether there is illegal sales of low-speed electric vehicles, etc., and implements three measures: First, it is to strengthen vehicle quality supervision. Carry out product quality supervision and spot checks on electric vehicles, batteries and chargers in the production and sales process, and urge manufacturers to fulfill their obligations to recall defective products in accordance with the law, and eliminate potential safety hazards in a timely manner; Third, it is to preach the policy and legal basis for the governance of low-speed electric vehicles, the harmfulness of illegal vehicles, improve the public's understanding of the illegality and harmfulness of low-speed electric vehicles, and strive to create a social atmosphere in which the masses do not buy or drive low-speed electric vehicles, and strengthen the prevention of road safety risk warnings.
The traffic police detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau will establish a long-term mechanism of joint supervision with the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, implement the rectification of low-speed electric vehicles into daily supervision, and continuously strengthen the joint action between departments and regions to cover the city, so as to achieve the whole process of supervision of the quality and safety of low-speed electric vehicles.
