In 2007, Xie Xiaoyan, who was born in a military family, was admitted to Xi'an Armed Police Engineering University with a military dream. In 2018, Xie Xiaoyan, who retired from the Fifth Hydropower Detachment of the Armed Police, chose to become a traffic policeman, and since then fluorescent green has become her signature color, "serving the people" has become the narration of her life, and her loyalty has blossomed in the police barracks.

In 2023, the Longhutang traffic police window she is responsible for will handle 10,044 physical examinations for drivers for beginners and license renewals, 2,300 annual vehicle examination services, and 7,200 driver's license replacement businesses.

In 2022, Xie Xiaoyan will become a police officer at the vehicle driving management window of the Longhutang Traffic Police Squadron. "Hello everyone, I'm traffic police Xiaoyan!" This familiar opening sentence comes from a traffic safety promotional video written, directed and acted by Xie Xiaoyan. This year, Xie Xiaoyan took over the responsibility of the squadron's traffic safety publicity and turned into a female anchor. In order to make traffic safety knowledge grounded, understandable, and memorized, Xie Xiaoyan combined traffic safety publicity with the 24 solar terms to achieve the deep integration of traditional culture and modern traffic civilization. As soon as the video was launched, it became a hit in the circle of friends.
Since 2023, Xie Xiaoyan has conducted more than 20 traffic safety publicity sessions in enterprises, communities, schools, and nursing homes, distributed more than 1,000 copies of publicity materials, carried out 3 traffic safety knowledge lectures, recorded 5 traffic safety publicity videos, and educated more than 10,000 people.
From olive green to fluorescent green, she has changed her name and identity, but what has not changed is her original intention of dedication and selfless dedication.
