At the same time, it said that Nansi Friendship Road is currently promoting the upgrading and renovation project to a certain extent, and there are many options for Liantai Xiangyu Shangcheng Community and Lida Chongyong, and there are subway stations, bus stations, long-distance bus stations, schools, restaurants, etc. on the side of Wanda Star City, so there is a great demand for pedestrians between these two communities (there are great safety hazards in the pedestrian zebra crossing here before), will the renovation of Nansi Friendship Road be synchronized with the construction of underpasses or overpasses?
In this regard, the latest reply from the Honggutan District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau said that the comprehensive reconstruction project of Nansi Friendship Road includes an underpass, and the new underpass is located about 50 meters east of Fenghe Interchange, making it safer for surrounding residents to travel, and at the same time, it also allows Nansi Friendship Road to be quickly passed, which is planned to be completed and put into use by the end of June 2024.
In other words, the previously planned pedestrian bridge will definitely not appear in the project!

Located in Honggutan New District, the Nansi Friendship Road Project starts from Fengsheng Expressway in the west and connects to Nanchang Bridge in the east, with a total length of about 5.7 kilometers and an area of 158,400 square meters, which is an important part of the trunk road network in Nanchang.
The total length of the road is 2.4 kilometers, and the main construction content is to upgrade the existing motorway surface, improve the non-motorized lanes, sidewalks, drainage pipe networks along the line and add new underpasses.
At present, the main road is still in a state of partial fencing, but part of the asphalt surface has been formed. Previously, the official said that it would strive to be fully completed and opened to traffic at the end of May, and judging from the latest reply, the project will be extended for a certain period of time!
