Suzhou Industrial Park Xinghai Hospital, formerly known as Loufeng Central Health Center in the suburbs of Suzhou, was founded in 1956, renamed "Suzhou Industrial Park Loufeng Hospital" in 2002, and renamed Xinghai Hospital in 2014 according to the unified deployment of the Management Committee. In 2009, the hospital passed the evaluation of second-class general hospitals, and is a second-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, and maternal and child preventive health care.
The current site of Xinghai Hospital in the park was built in 2001, due to the significant increase in the surrounding population compared with the beginning of construction, the original business space can not meet the demand for medical treatment, the industrial park will renovate and expand Xinghai Hospital in 2021, with an investment of 316 million yuan in the hospital reconstruction and expansion project, and a total construction area of 40,500 square meters of new business buildings, including 34,800 square meters above ground and 5,700 square meters underground.
After the renovation and expansion, the new building has 257 approved beds, 33 clinical medical and technical departments and 6 wards. At present, the hospital has 344 employees, 310 health technicians, 90% of whom are professional and technical personnel, including 117 with senior titles, 131 with intermediate titles, 62 with junior titles, 1 doctor and 21 with master's degrees. The hospital has 64-slice CT, 1.5T nuclear magnetic resonance, DR digital imaging system, automatic breast full-volume ultrasound instrument and other large and medium-sized diagnosis and treatment equipment. It has advanced surgical and treatment equipment such as 4K high-definition fluorescence laparoscopic surgery system, breast minimally invasive rotary resection system, holmium laser lithotripsy machine, argon high-frequency electric knife, etc.
After the opening of the new building, the hospital's outpatient and emergency hours will remain unchanged, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 13:00 p.m. to 16:45 p.m., with an emergency department of 24 hours a day. The rejuvenated facilities will greatly enhance the medical experience of the public. "We used to see a doctor here, and today my wife came here to see a free orthopedic clinic. The facilities in the new building are very advanced, and it feels good to come to see a doctor. Mr. Hu, who came to see a doctor today, said.
