From April 20th to May 30th, the 25th China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo was held in Shouguang City, and the 2024 Shouguang Vegetable Fair Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition was held simultaneously during the exhibition.
With the theme of "Pastoral Joy", this intangible cultural heritage exhibition selected 13 items with local characteristics, such as straw weaving, rural embroidery, and flower wrapping, which are easy to interact with and can be sold. The inheritors of dozens of projects were organized to carry out on-site displays, interactive and physical exhibitions, and the on-site exhibits were exquisite and had a strong sense of interactive experience, which were appreciated and favored by the audience, and some intangible cultural heritage products were sold out in a short period of time. The intangible cultural heritage display will last until May 30, with the help of a large number of foreign tourists during the fair, to better promote the local culture of Shouguang.
Since the beginning of this year, Shouguang City has deeply excavated local intangible cultural heritage projects, integrated intangible cultural heritage elements into rural tourism, cultural and creative industries and other fields, promoted the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and modern agriculture, leisure tourism and other industries, added 19 representative projects of the sixth batch of intangible cultural heritage, and carried out more than 50 series of activities such as the Shouguang Yellow River Grand Gathering and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival.
