This is a common occurrence in many villages and small towns. But do you really believe these rhetoric, or is it just to save face in front of the villagers?
In many places, especially in small remote villages, migrant work has become the only way for many young people to change their lives. Most of them went to other places, engaged in factory work or other manual labor, and the wages they earned for long hours of hard work every day were not as good as they claimed.
Take my little sister as an example, she works in a factory in Guangdong, working 12 hours, working non-stop in the morning and evening, and her monthly salary is only four or five thousand, if she works more overtime, it may be slightly higher, but this kind of life is tiring or tired. And in the electronics factory in our county, the situation is similar.
Those young workers can only get four or five thousand yuan a month, and although they can withstand continuous overtime, such income is not proportional to their efforts.
Not only that, but the situation in the service industry is not optimistic. The salary of a waiter or salesman is even lower, and the monthly income of the basic salary plus commission is often less than 3,000 yuan. They work 10 hours a day, with only two days off a month, and their wages are still unstable.
Even work on the construction site has not saved people from this low-income fate. My cousin started working at 7 a.m. every day and didn't finish until 6 p.m., and his net income over the course of a year was only a little more than 50,000 yuan.
Such a working environment and income are obviously very different from what they say about earning more than 10,000 yuan a month. Most people's real income is far from that level, and those who actually earn more than 10,000 yuan a month may have a high degree of education, strong ability and network resources.
Through these vivid examples and descriptions, it is not difficult to see that the life of ordinary migrant workers is not as easy and affluent as some people boast. Most people are sweating and time in exchange for that little bit of income. In this process, we should learn to understand and respect, and every worker deserves to be respected.
Whether it is a monthly income of 3,000 or 30,000, everyone's efforts should be seen and affirmed. And for those who feel pressure in life, you might as well look at other people's success or boast with a normal heart, after all, "no one is perfect", and the value of each of us should not be measured only by money.
