On April 26, under the leadership of the Gansu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Gansu Provincial People's Hospital, Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gansu Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital (Gansu Provincial Central Hospital), Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Hospital Gansu Hospital and other 8 hospitals signed a cooperation agreement with Benben car-hailing platform, which will send health and warmth to online car-hailing drivers through health lectures, psychological counseling, health examinations, medical services, etc.

Studies have shown that the average working hours of online ride-hailing drivers are 11.05 hours per day, and the average number of days per week is 6.45 days. More than 80% of online ride-hailing drivers go out for more than 8 hours a day. At the same time, many factors such as road conditions, passenger demand, and operating cost pressures will also cause greater psychological ups and downs and fluctuations among drivers.

"The high load of work exposes online taxi drivers to a variety of occupational health risks. In order to protect the physical and mental health of online car-hailing drivers, and provide them with more professional medical services and health protection," said Li Yongjun, vice chairman of the Gansu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions.

It is reported that Benben car-hailing platform has become the only local online car-hailing platform with independent intellectual property rights and the largest operation scale in Gansu Province. The platform has 642 self-operated compliant online car-hailing vehicles, 150 online hailing taxis, and more than 1,500 compliant online car-hailing vehicles connected to other online car-hailing operating companies, with an overall revenue of 60% of Lanzhou's effective and compliant transportation capacity. In the operation center of Lanzhou City, Benben has set up a small home and service station for employees to provide psychological counseling, conflict mediation, rest, hot water, toileting, car washing and other intimate services to workers in new forms of business and new employment groups.
