On April 24, the flood control work of the Huadu Defense Responsibility Section of the Beijiang Embankment came to a successful end. In this flood prevention work, the relevant departments of Huadu District moved when they heard the "flood" and quickly did a good job in ensuring all kinds of materials and equipment, communications, power supply, health and other support work, so as to lay a solid foundation for fully ensuring the safety of the Beijiang embankment.
District Development and Reform Bureau
In line with the principle of "stressing politics, taking into account the overall situation, high standards, strict requirements, focusing on key points, and real implementation", the District Development and Reform Bureau has done a good job in this guarantee work. The emergency disaster relief living materials guarantee enterprises in the coordination area urgently distribute daily necessities, which effectively meets the needs of emergency rescue and disaster relief personnel. Nearly 300 staff on duty were provided with more than 60 kinds of food and daily necessities such as three meals a day, fruits, and milk. The Emergency Management Bureau of the Coordination District has ensured more than 150 sets of air-conditioned quilts and pillows to ensure that the emergency and disaster relief personnel can rest well and devote themselves to the rescue and disaster relief.

The District Water Affairs Bureau quickly set up a technical support team for flood control and rescue, coordinated two "dragon water absorption" and one maintenance support vehicle of Huadu Drainage Company to prepare for flood fighting and rescue; selected more than 20 technical backbones (13 senior water conservancy engineers and 7 engineers, of which 6 had participated in the "22.6 Beijiang Flood Fighting") to form two echelons of technical support teams, and went to the flood control and rescue headquarters on the front line of the Beijiang Embankment in Huadu District to report to the flood control and rescue headquarters at the first time; In the work of danger disposal, guide the town and street to carry out dike patrol and risk inspection, timely identify suspected dangers such as pipe gushing, water seepage, and bubbling, and the two hidden dangers of water surface bubbling found in the responsibility section of our district have been eliminated in time.
District Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry, Commerce and Information Technology
Initiate a three-level response to network emergency communication support, and make every effort to do a good job in network communication support. The radio emergency support team in the coordination area has arranged for 5 team members to carry 2 sets of communication enhancement signal equipment (alpine base station, self-organized extension station, individual soldier radio, gasoline generator set, strong lighting flashlight, mobile power bank, 50 handheld walkie-talkies of digital ad hoc network, drones, and tents) and personal equipment rushed to the on-site flood control headquarters of the Huadu section of the Guangzhou responsibility of the Beijiang embankment to carry out flood fighting and rescue, deployed and strengthened the emergency communication distribution in the Beijiang embankment, and tested the communication coverage within the affected area of the site to ensure that the signal was normal. At the same time, the three major operators will be organized to do a good job in emergency communication support in the region.
District Transport Bureau
Quickly assemble rescue teams, deploy emergency vehicles and related emergency supplies. 15 emergency teams for flood control and rescue of Beijiang Embankment were mobilized, about 30 rescue tool vehicles such as freight trucks, excavators, and forklifts were reserved, 5 warehouses for three-prevention and rescue materials, and a batch of emergency materials such as generators, pumps, on-site lights, and life jackets were reserved. Prepare for the bus emergency first-level capacity of 60 vehicles, second-level capacity of 100 vehicles, 5 road rescue teams, about 170 people. At the same time, 430 inspectors were dispatched to inspect more than 250 key road sections, bridges, culverts and tunnels in the region.
District Health Bureau
The emergency team of Chixiao Town Health Center was dispatched to the Beijiang headquarters as soon as possible, equipped with 1 ambulance and relevant medical personnel to provide medical security, pay attention to the physical health and psychological state of the personnel on duty, and ensure everyone's physical and mental health. All medical institutions quickly improved emergency plans, investigated potential safety hazards, established health emergency response teams, equipped with necessary drugs and equipment, established medical rescue echelons and material reserves, and strengthened supervision and management of drinking water and prevention of infectious diseases. Strengthen standby duty, and implement a 24-hour leadership and duty system. The 120 sub-centers in the district, 13 network hospitals, 28 ambulances on duty, and 112 people are all on duty, opening green channels for pre-hospital and in-hospital treatment, and taking multiple measures to build a solid flood prevention safety barrier for the health system.
Huadu Power Supply Bureau
24-hour duty to ensure electricity demand. The Huadu Power Supply Bureau actively cooperated with the work of the Municipal Defense General and the Huadu District Temporary Headquarters, and dispatched 7 people and a 200kW power generation vehicle to ensure the power supply of the Guangzhou Municipal Defense General Headquarters, and dispatched 22 people, a 200kW power generation vehicle, 3 outdoor distribution boxes, 1 power cord frame, 4 emergency lighting fixtures, and a batch of emergency equipment to ensure the normal operation of the equipment of the Huadu District Temporary Headquarters.
In addition, the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau dispatched 14 air-conditioned residential containers to provide resting places for the personnel on duty. The district urban management bureau has set up a large mobile hand-washing truck to provide convenience for the personnel on duty.
