"The charm of the mountain village has its charm all year round, attracting every wanderer, especially the snow in winter, which seems to have endless magic and fascinates me. Speaking of the ice and snow in his hometown, Yongqing Ram's thoughts returned to his childhood.

Yongqing Lham, from Zuogong County, Changdu, is a snowboarder of the Tibet Ski Training Team and the champion of the women's slalom cross in the snowboard youth group of the 14th National Winter Games. At the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Yongqing Ram was accidentally injured during the pre-competition test and left the field in tears. Although she retired due to injury, she set the best result in the history of a Chinese athlete at the Snowboard Cross World Cup, and was the first Tibetan athlete to qualify for the Winter Olympics in this event.

In 2004, Yongqing Lhamo was born in Purong Village, Wanda Town, Zuogong County, Changdu City. In the quiet village, the locals live a life of half-farming and half-pastoralism. Deep in the mountains, children are enthusiastic about games such as football, grid jumping and shuttlecock kicking. "The girls love to jump bands and shuttlecocks, but I prefer to play soccer with the boys, which was the happiest time of my childhood. Yongqing Ram recalled.

His childhood hobbies accompanied him as he grew up. Although there is no formal football field in the village, as long as you can find a simple open space, the love of football will eventually overcome the simple hardware facilities, and Yongqing Ram and his friends will often play a hearty game on the sand. During that time, she not only felt the charm of football, but also learned to trust and cooperate with her teammates.

During his primary school in Zuogong County, with his outstanding athletic talent, Yongqing Lhamo was selected by the Autonomous Region Sports School twice. was selected for the first time, because she was still young, she didn't know how to choose for a while, and her parents couldn't bear to let her leave home at a young age, so they politely refused. As the youngest child in the family, Yongqing Ram was cared for by the whole family. "My parents don't know about sports school students, they only know that they need to train every day, they feel sorry for me too tired, and hope that I will study hard, be admitted to university, and find a stable job. ”

When Yongqing Lam was in the fifth grade of primary school, the gears of fate turned again - the autonomous region sports school went to Zuogong County again for selection, and Yongqing Lam was selected again because of his outstanding performance. This time, Yongqing Lhamo seems to see her future self shining, she wants to go to Lhasa, she wants to be a professional football player. That year, when Yongqing Lhamo was 11 years old, she got on a bus to Lhasa......

In 2018, Yongqing Lam "changed careers" from football to snowboarding through cross-border and cross-discipline talent selection. "I didn't know anything about skiing at first, I was just curious, and the ski equipment was beautiful. ”

For a long time afterwards, Yongqing Lhamo followed the Tibet ski training team to conduct systematic training at home and abroad. She remembers the excitement she felt when she first came into contact with real snow training outdoors. "The first time I skied, it was magical. I took a lot of photos and videos that day and sent them to my family, and let them know about my training routine. ”

The seasons alternate and training goes on as usual. On the steep and undulating snow slopes, Yongqing Lam and his teammates were determined to devote themselves to the long and challenging training time. At dawn, before the night faded, they faced the biting cold wind and stepped on the snow slopes, with the desire for self-breakthrough, to start a day of training and hard work.

Day after day, Yongqing Ram kept repeating those difficult movements, and continued to attack his own limits. Every jump, spin, slide, she is meticulous and tries to do better.

The cooler the temperature, the heavier the snow falls, and the more Yong Qing Lam enjoys training in the wind and snow. Occasionally falling during training and occasionally rushing off the track, she will quickly get up and continue to forge ahead, fully immersing herself in this ice and snow world. Teammates said that Yongqing Ram is a person who strives for perfection, especially when it comes to training.

As he grew older, his love for skiing grew. Even during breaks, she would go to the training ground alone to silently polish every move, and many times, she would stop and rest for a while when she needed to be urged by her coach. She knows that to be a good snowboarder, you need not only great technique, but also strong physical fitness and willpower. During the training process, Yongqing Ram was often covered in bruises, especially his arms and legs, and his family was very worried. "As an athlete, getting injured is nothing!" she said lightly.

In 2022, in the 2021-2022 FIS Snowboard Slalom World Cup in Russia, Yongqing Lam finished tied for 17th, creating the best result in the history of Chinese athletes in the World Cup in this event, and qualified for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

In order to prepare for the Beijing Winter Olympics, Yongqing Ram increased the intensity of training. However, the sky is unpredictable. During the track test and official training two days before the start of the women's snowboard cross at the Beijing Winter Olympics, Yongqing Lam fell and injured his first tail vertebrae, regretting the Beijing Winter Olympics. failed to bloom at the Beijing Winter Olympics, as if fate played a joke on her.

The Beijing Winter Olympics have come to an end, but the Beijing Winter Olympics in Yongqing Ram's heart has always been there, and it is becoming more and more enthusiastic. During the period of recuperation, she searched the Internet for the Beijing Winter Olympics competition videos and watched them repeatedly, paying attention to the competition situation of each competitor. "At that time, it was a low point for me. It was the fighting spirit of the opponents that made me not give up easily, and it also made me cherish the time I spent sweating on the slopes even more. ”

Two years later, 20-year-old Yongqing Lhamam waited for the 14th National Winter Games. And this youth group competition also let everyone see her strength. "I'm very happy that this gold medal makes up for the previous Winter Olympics in Beijing. In an interview, Yongqing Ram couldn't hide his excitement and said.

The young Yongqing Ram was not satisfied with this. She knew that to become a top snowboarder, she needed to push herself. As a result, she trained harder and challenged her to higher levels of difficulty.

"Every snowflake has witnessed my growth. Looking back on his own growth experience, Yongqing Lam said, "Whether it is on the steep slope or on the road of life, as long as you have a dream and work hard for it, you will definitely be able to create your own glory." ”

Yongqing Lam told reporters that for her, snowboarding has long become an indispensable part of her life, and she looks forward to continuing to break through herself in the field of snowboarding and climb the peak.
