In 1993, the State Council decided to change the name of "Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" to "Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences". In 1994, the Chinese Academy of Sciences reissued him with an honorary plaque and certificate for the members of the Division. The honor plate number is CAS-1957-003 and the certificate number is 0081.
