Jingjing high-speed railway connects Jingzhou and Jingmen in Hubei Province, with a new main line length of 77.6 kilometers, with 3 stations in Jingmen West, Shayangxi and Jingzhou, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and has been under construction since September 2020.
Shayang West Station of Jingjing High-speed Railway is located in the northwest of Shilipu Town, Shayang County, with a construction area of 3,990 square meters and a new platform canopy construction area of 10,450 square meters. The station building is based on the concept of "Jingfeng Chuyun and Jianshu Yi", combined with Jingchu architectural characteristics, which is very suitable for the regional culture of Shayang Jingfeng Chuyun.
At present, the construction of the Jingjing high-speed railway has entered the sprint stage and is expected to be completed within the year. According to the Yangtze River Coastal Railway Group, Jingmen West Station, which is shared by Jingjing Railway and Yangtze River High-speed Railway, is expected to be completed in the second half of the year.
As an important part of the Hunan high-speed railway, the Jingjing high-speed railway, the Xiangjing high-speed railway, and the high-speed railway along the Yangtze River meet here. Wang Ping, the person in charge of the Jingjing Railway 1 project, said: "After the completion and opening of traffic within the year, it will only take 20 minutes to connect Jingmen and Jingzhou at the earliest, Jingmen will officially enter the era of high-speed rail, and Hubei will achieve the goal of 'city-to-city high-speed rail'." ”
After the opening, the railway travel from Jingmen to Wuhan can be through the Jingjing Railway and Hanyi Line, and the time is expected to be reduced from the current more than 3 hours to less than 2 hours.
