It is reported that there are 46 graduates of the school in 2024, and 21 of them have won the honorary titles of national athletes, national first-class athletes, and national second-class athletes. In the 2023-2024 National Speed Skating Youth Championships, 8 students from the school won 1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals, and 17 graduates won 5 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Harbin Ice and Snow Sports School is a nine-year school of "integration of sports and education" jointly founded by the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau and the Harbin Municipal Education Bureau in 2014, which fills the gap in athletes' cultural education and is the first initiative in the country to solve the contradiction between learning and training. This year is the tenth year of the establishment of the Ice and Snow School, and it is also a year of testing the results of ten years of cooperation. In recent years, more than 400 graduates of the school have gone to the professional teams, provincial teams and national teams of prefectures and cities, and have achieved good results in national and international ice and snow competitions. Yang Binyu won the World Youth Olympic Games championship in 2020, won the first place in the national championships in team skating and women's ice hockey in 2019, and won three championships in speed skating at the second National Youth Winter Games in 2019. Since 2019, students have won a total of 37 gold medals in competitions above the provincial level. In the past three years, the students of the school have basically won the top three speed skating competitions in various cities across the province, and there are at least five students in the top ten competitions in national and provincial competitions. The school has become an important source of athletes for professional teams in various cities in the province and even professional teams in Heilongjiang Province. In the past eight years, 23 students have been trained by the national team, 14 students have been trained by the national ski jumping team, and 6 students have been trained by the national alpine skiing team.
