On April 25, at the special event of the "4.26" Intellectual Property Publicity Week in Jinniu District, Chengdu Intellectual Property Trading Center released a list of patent transformation needs of universities and institutes across the country and Chengdu-Chongqing. The list covers 8 industrial ecosystems and 28 key industrial chains, including electronic information, digital economy, aerospace, modern transportation, green and low-carbon, big health, new consumption, and modern agriculture, aiming to realize the precise docking of technological achievements of universities and the actual needs of enterprises, and help the "stock" of patents of universities and institutes to quickly transform into the "increment" of innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
It is understood that Chengdu Intellectual Property Trading Center was established in 2018 and is the only intellectual property trading venue approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. With intellectual property trading as the starting point, the CFETS will build an innovative comprehensive service platform for intellectual property transfer and transformation focusing on intellectual property financing and intellectual property operation services, so as to promote the efficient use of intellectual property rights and promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Based on the recently collected patent achievement projects, the Chengdu Intellectual Property Exchange Center screened 824 patent transformation demand projects through evaluation and evaluation, including 447 patent open licenses. Among them, 357 are in the electronic information industry, 81 are in the digital economy industry, 16 are in the aerospace industry, 61 are in the modern transportation industry, 150 are in the green and low-carbon industry, 118 are in the big health industry, 9 are in the new consumption industry, and 32 are in the modern agricultural industry.

According to the relevant person in charge of Chengdu Intellectual Property Trading Center, the demand items released this time mainly come from three parts.
In the solicitation of high-value patent achievement transformation demand projects for innovative entities such as universities and institutes and enterprises across the country, high-value patent achievement projects and open licensing projects from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and other universities and institutes inside and outside the province have been collected.
Focusing on the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, with the support of the intellectual property authorities of Chengdu and Chongqing, the Chengdu Intellectual Property Exchange Center, Chongqing Intellectual Property Operation Center, Chongqing Science and Technology Elements Trading Center and other units have established a cross-regional business cooperation mechanism, realizing the normalization of high-value patent projects in Sichuan and Chongqing, and promoting the cross-regional transformation and application of patent achievements. There are also some projects from universities and institutes in Chongqing.
In addition, some of the projects come from the trading center's key work on revitalizing the stock of patents in universities and scientific research institutions this year. At present, Chengdu Intellectual Property Exchange Center has successfully assisted more than 80 universities in the province to complete the inventory of existing patents, in the process, the trading center has screened a number of patent achievements with potential market value in universities in the province and included them in the release list.
