In a recent interview with the Yangcheng Evening News, Wang Shaoqiang, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Artists Association and Director of the Guangdong Museum of Art, stated that since its establishment in 1997, the Guangdong Museum of Art has continuously enriched its collection, conducted historical research on Lingnan and national modern and contemporary art development, actively participated in the construction and development of Chinese contemporary art with an open attitude and a high level of academic expertise.
