In April this year, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission announced the list of 56 "Beautiful Rural Roads" in Beijing in 2023, among which the 30.266-kilometer rural roads in Huairou were awarded the title of "Beijing Beautiful Rural Roads".
They are: Xigan Road (Huairou Town), Xingshui Road (Bohai Town), Xigou Road (Changshaoying Manchu Township), Jisi Road (Jiuduhe Town) and Qianqing Road (Liulimiao Town), Ladian Road (Laogoumen Manchu Township).

Ladian Road, is everyone's frequent visitors, often famous for beauty, the scenery along the highway is picturesque, connecting Beijing's largest primitive secondary forest, Xia Liang Palace, Manchu Folk Museum, White Birch Valley Scenic Area and many other tourist attractions, on both sides of the road are distributed Sun Zhazi, Tianying, Xia Hebei, Zhongyushudian and other city, district-level Manchu customs and folk villages, the exterior of the house is decorated with blue bricks and green tiles, the street flag totem, the Manchu charm is rich, the cultural heritage is far-reaching, in recent years, it has gradually become a check-in destination for citizens all the way to the north and "just go".
In 2017, the Huairou Highway Branch focused on the construction of beautiful villages, listed Ladian Road as a "relief and rectification to promote upgrading" project for preventive maintenance construction, and further improved various road facilities such as road surfaces, side ditches, and protective railings to improve driving safety and comfort. After the renovation, 12 landscape parking lots, 8 parking leisure harbors, 3 viewing platforms, and 2 rest platforms are also set up along the road to facilitate everyone to park, rest, and enjoy the scenery.

Xigou Road, from the North Badaohe branch line in the east to Liupogou in the west, the route is 4.3 kilometers long. This time, the most beautiful rural road section is declared to start and end at the North Badao River branch - reservoir, with a length of 2 kilometers.
The road is located in the northern mountainous area of Huairou District, Changshaoying Manchu Township, the highway safety facilities are perfect, the environment on both sides is beautiful, the roadside dwellings have the Manchu ethnic customs, it is a rural road that shows the national characteristics, the smooth flow of the rural road has driven the economic development along the line, provided the basic guarantee for the transportation of agricultural products, and not only improved the living standards of the villagers in Xigou Village, but also improved the economic income of the villagers.
