Agricultural technicians and the masses check the wheat seedlings.

"This year's wheat growth is generally good!" said Jing Hongxia, an agronomist at the Lingtai County Agricultural Technology Center, that after the wheat entered the jointing period, the Agricultural Technology Center promptly organized technical personnel to carry out surveys on seedlings, moisture, and pests and diseases in key towns and towns in the county where wheat is planted. At the same time, we should pay close attention to weather changes, scientifically guide the masses to implement natural disaster prevention measures, and lay a solid foundation for a bumper summer harvest.

In recent years, Lingtai County has strictly adhered to the red line of cultivated land protection and the bottom line of food security, and has created a green, high-quality and high-efficiency demonstration production advantage area of 220,000 mu of winter wheat focusing on "one core, four belts, and four bases" through technology first, standardized standards, supporting measures, and combining technology and materials, and the wheat has been harvested year after year.

Agricultural technicians explain the precautions for wheat during the seedling pulling period for the masses.

This year, 335,500 acres of winter wheat were planted in Lingtai County. Among them, there are 181,000 mu of first-class seedlings, accounting for 53.95%, 114,000 mu of second-class seedlings, accounting for 33.98%, and 40,500 mu of third-class seedlings, accounting for 12.07%. The first and second types of seedlings were generally better, and the moisture was generally better than that of the same period of the previous year, which was conducive to the jointing growth of wheat.

"We will continue to pay attention to weather changes and the growth trend of winter wheat, implement policies according to seedlings, classify guidance, and implement the work of 'one spray and three preventions'. At the same time, we should further strengthen the monitoring, early warning, prevention and control of natural disasters such as stripe rust and powdery mildew, as well as natural disasters such as low-temperature freezing damage, so as to ensure a bumper harvest of summer grain. Jing Hongxia said.
