On April 25, the District Disabled Persons' Federation and the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau held a special job fair for the employment of the disabled in 2024, with 20 employers for the disabled providing more than 200 positions for the disabled to choose from.
There is a legal and policy consultation desk at the job fair, which provides policy consulting services on employment and entrepreneurship, skills training, social security, labor rights protection and other aspects for job seekers and recruiting enterprises.
"In the early stage, we developed employment positions according to the employability of the disabled, and publicized and promoted the job information of the job fair through the Town Street Disabled Persons' Federation, the Disabled Persons' Association, the WeChat public account, etc., focusing on pushing the disabled who are willing to work, and improving the employment rate of the disabled. By the end of the event, 100 people with disabilities had entered the venue, and 60 people had reached a preliminary intention to trade. The relevant person in charge of the District Disabled Persons' Federation said.
In the next step, the District Disabled Persons' Federation will take this job fair as an opportunity to take multiple measures and make concerted efforts to continuously improve the employment service capacity of the disabled, broaden the employment channels for the disabled, build an information exchange platform between the disabled and employers, help the unemployed disabled to find suitable employment, and help the high-quality development of enterprises to empower and increase efficiency.
